On admission, one of the staff members will ask you for information on where to forward hospital accounts.
As a private patient, please be aware that you may face additional costs which are above the cover provided by your health insurance fund. These may be related to fees from your own doctor, the anaesthetist, radiologist, the pathology laboratory or other health practitioners.
There may also be a gap between your insurance cover and Private Hospital charges. Whilst our staff will perform a check with your health fund to determine the amount that you will be required to pay, it is strongly recommended that the patient contact their health fund so they are fully appraised of any out-of-pocket expenses.
Note: The Private Hospital has no control over the medical fees charged to you by doctors, therefore the cost of your procedure and any additional fees should be discussed with your doctor before admission.
